You can modify any of the Terms Mangia! uses in recipes: change their spelling, specify how they are pluralized and put in Categories, and in many cases give Alternative Spellings to ease the process of finding the right Term. In the case of ingredients, you can also specify the section of the store where you find them. All of that is done under the Edit Dictionary... submenu of the Edit menu. From there you select the Category of Term you want to work on: ingredient name, unit of measurement, Nationality, Course, and so on.
The general procedure for making changes to various Terms is the same:
• At the top of the editing window, you type or select (using the accompanying Dictionary Button) the Term you want to work on. Once the selection is made, the remainder of the window fills with Mangia!’s current knowledge about the Term.
• Make any changes you like.
• Click on OK to close the window and register the changes, or Do It to just register the changes, clear the window, and move on to another Term.
